To me the most frustrating moment is when I am unable to paint. At those times I am not connected with the painting itself and it is like I am a stranger towards my own work. I feel like everything I do is arbitrary. When my painting is productive I sense a natural balance between giving and taking. Then the painting process almost happens unconsciously like it takes place out side of me. There is a total unity between the picture and me. No thoughts. These are the moment that my best work is created.
